New Arrivals for the New Season – 22 new Wildfowl Refuge Signs

Over the last few months, 22 new Wildfowl refuge signs have been erected around all four of the Wildfowl Refuges on Lough Erne. This project was proposed and co-ordinated by LEWC and approved by DCAL, as one of the management operations which the LEWC must fulfill each year. The project has been funded from the income generated from Wildfowl Permit Sales.

The boundaries of all four of the Wildfowl refuges, (Knockninny, Enniskillen, Castle Archdale and Castle Caldwell) are now clearly designated and visible from watercraft of all types.
